About Sahara Noir Black Marble You Need to Know

Sahara Noir Marble is from Tunisia. People also called it as Noir Aziza Marble. With dark black base color and a few white & golden veins throughout the surface, it is always one of the designers’ favorite.

Features and Texture

The polishing degrees of this marble is high, most of this marble is not big. It is fragile, so a mesh backing is essential for the marble before polishing slabs.

Surface Finishing

The surface can be polished, honed, antique, brushed, etc. Polished and honed tiles are quite popular. Polished one shows an elegant and eye-catching in appearance, while the honed surface looks decent and antique.

Usage

The material is widely used for walls and floors. Book-matched tiles are quite suitable for wall panels. For floor tiles, veins can be book-matched or continue. We recommend doing waterproof sealers on the tiles. Due to its texture, we would suggest not to use Sahara Noir for kitchen countertops, but vanity tops in small sizes are fine.
